Thirty-five years ago, our company started as a small workshop of only four carding machines. Our founder, Mr. Liu Jishan, is an expert in research and technology from the textile industry. These four carding machines are based on his invention patents. In the 1980s, China's cashmere industry quietly emerged. Being a textile raw material, cashmere was mostly exported and subject to quota control. The export quota of cashmere was in the hands of thirteen provincial-level Animal by-products I/E corporation. Because of the carding technology that protects the cashmere fiber from damage to the utmost extent and the excellent quality of dehaired cashmere, we have been selected as the designated cashmere processing factory Hebei Animal By-products I/E Corporation.

    With China's reform and opening up policy, we have the right to import and export, and we also have more opportunities to participate in import and export fairs, trade directly with foreign businessmen, learn more about the needs of overseas market, from there, we continuously improved our technology and dehairing equipment. In 1999, white-to-white dehaired cashmere was produced. At the same time, the coarse hair content is very important indicator of manufacture, it also shows the technical level of the most advanced processing plant. In the 1980s to 1990s, and even the 00s, this norm's standard for dehaired cashmere was 0.3-0.4%, and it could reach 0.2-0.3% for better ones. We controlled this indicator to within 0.1% by 2010. Nowadays, it is not hard to see white-to-white and dehaired products with a coarse hair content of about 0.1% in the market now, but Shanyou was definitely the first mover at that time.

   Shanyou started to enter the domestic market in 2017. The opportunity at that time was that some major domestic wool spinning enterprises, received a batch of orders for uniforms, which, use worsted fabrics containing cashmere, the requirement for chemical fiber free from cashmere tops. This was a big challenge once again. Therefore, from 2017 to 2018, our staff improved our sorting methods, communicated with the laboratories of our customers,  we finally come out with our new product -Cashmere Tops with chemical free, containing less than 7 chemical fibers per 20 grams. What makes us gratified is that, at present, the domestic large and small processing plants have also begun to attach importance to chemical fiber content, lifting the production level of the entire industry.

In the course of more than 30 years of development, our leader, Mr. Li Neng, has never rejected new technologies and processes, and has shown great enthusiasm for the special product requirements of customers, although he also knows that these requirements will bring some of the economic losses of the enterprise, he led us to overcome many difficulties, and while meeting the different needs of customers, he also enriched our product structure.
